This is a stunning specimen of the brownish variety of andradite, named topazolite. One large crystal measuring 13 mm cm in diameter is perched on top of an elongated piece of mother rock. Several groupings of side crystals drag the eye of the beholder down and make this a superb and highly balanced miniature!

Hundreds of sharp, red and elongated proustite crystals almost fully covering a small cabinet sized matrix. The proustites have been well protected from the daylight and glow incredibly red when backlit! This is one of the very best proustite specimens we have seen from Morocco so far. A wonderful "360" rock, as it is very showy from all sides!
