This specimen features a large columnar strontianite predominantly sitting on magnesite matrix. Towards the termination the colour gets more intense and results in a pleasing and highly desired reddish brown hue. The prism faces are sharp and lustrous, the termination faces are stepped and bevelled. Oberdorf an der Laming is the only locality in the world that has produced strontianites of that size and quality. This is a remarkably fine miniature, very hard to find in the market today. Ex R.
