EM22 - Tourmaline - SOLD
Mawi, Laghman Province, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Size: 7.3 x 1.2 x 1.1 cm

Found in 2018 at Mawi mine, this pocked produced only a very small number of crystals. About 20 of them were in perfect condition, sizes varied from 3 to 5 cm. This crystal was by far the biggest and best in the lot, featuring 3 distinctive colour zones. The top is a bright and open grass green, the center section a stunning, tender pink and the bottom a pleasing olive green with a blue hint. Sharp and elongated, in pristine condition.
